- Can I do an internship in Paris and how do I apply?
Students with a French language proficiency of at least Intermediate French II are invited to apply to for-credit internship opportunities available in Paris. Please read below for information on the program and where to go to apply.
NYU Paris has partnered with EUSA, a non-profit organization that works with universities and colleges to provide students with internship opportunities in Europe. If accepted into the program, students will work with EUSA to find and accept an internship placement. This for-credit program offers a 8 week maximum internship component with a semester long required weekly seminar for a total of 4 credits (application required, details below).
Students in this program learn more about French society, culture, and professional life through placements in a wide variety of agencies and organizations. You must be flexible, open-minded, adaptable, a self-starter, and ready for the challenge of new situations and cross-cultural engagement.
For more information on the process and opportunities, please see here.
Note: Students are required to have French language proficiency of at least Intermediate French II in key competencies (listening, reading, writing and speaking). Without this minimum proficiency, students are not eligible to participate in the internship program.
Students interested in participating in the Spring 2017 NYU Paris Academic Internship Program need to submit an application by Friday, October 21 (11:59pm ET). Students will be notified of admission by Friday, October 28. Students are welcome to apply to the Academic Internship Program prior to acceptance to NYU Paris.
